Performance Targeting Review Training Blueprint
Performance Targeting Review Training Blueprint
This blueprint distills how Focusinsight runs targeting reviews: align the team, score audiences with evidence, then execute a bounded sprint. Use it as a reference before enrolling or to brief internal stakeholders.
Team alignment model
Three rings: (1) shared definitions of audience maturity, (2) a single scorecard visible to sales and marketing, (3) escalation when data and intuition conflict. Workshops assign owners per ring before any channel work begins.
[Leadership] --> [Scorecard owner]
[Scorecard owner] --> [Marketing ops]
[Scorecard owner] --> [Sales liaison]
[Marketing ops] <--> [Sales liaison] Audience scoring logic
Signals weighted: fit (CRM + ad overlap), intent (recent engagement depth), capacity (sales bandwidth). Each segment receives 1–5 per dimension; totals drive priority, not gut rank. Thresholds for "scale", "hold", and "pause" are documented before tests start.
Fit (1-5) + Intent (1-5) + Capacity (1-5) = Priority band
Band A: scale with guardrails
Band B: test only
Band C: pause / reframe Execution sprint outline
Week 1: hypothesis cards and sample checks. Week 2: live variants with decision gates. Week 3: narrative report and leadership readout. Kill criteria published day one; rollback drills run mid-sprint.
Day 1-2: Hypothesis + gates
Day 3-7: Live tests
Day 8-10: Readout + backlog
